INDEPENDENT HOW-TO GUIDE
Troubleshoot common government portal problems
First checks for slow pages, delayed codes, unclear payments and website errors on government services.
AGI provides general troubleshooting guidance, not technical access to government systems. We cannot repair a government portal, see its internal status or process an application for you.
01
Before you begin
- Keep the exact error message and any official reference number, but do not share passwords, tax PINs, one-time codes or payment credentials.
- Check the address bar and make sure you are using the official portal for the service.
02
Steps to follow
- Check your connectionConfirm that other websites load normally and try a stable connection.
- Open the official starting pageNavigate from the agency’s official homepage rather than a saved deep link or an unexpected message.
- Protect unfinished workDo not refresh or close a page while a submission or payment is processing; copy non-sensitive text somewhere safe before retrying if possible.
- Avoid duplicate actionsIf submission or payment status is uncertain, check the application record and transaction reference before submitting or paying again.
- Use official supportIf the problem continues, use contact information published by the responsible agency.
03
Important notes
- AGI cannot speed up, repair or confirm the internal status of a government website.
- Repeated retries do not necessarily resolve a government-side outage and can create duplicate submissions or payments.
- Never pay an unofficial intermediary who promises to unlock a portal or force an application through.
