Higher-education scholarships and loans

Find official funding information and prepare for an application without relying on unofficial agents or outdated deadlines.

Before you apply

  1. Confirm your admission or placement status. Check which funding process applies to your institution, programme and student category.
  2. Read the current eligibility rules. Check the official funding notice for your intake or academic year; do not assume last year’s rules or deadlines still apply.
  3. Prepare the requested information. Use the current application guide to identify the details or documents required for your case.
  4. Apply through the official portal. Review your entries carefully and save the official confirmation or application reference.
  5. Check the status through official channels. Follow the instructions shown by HEF, the Universities Fund or HELB for your application type.
Placement is not funding.Being placed or admitted and applying for financial support are separate processes. Applying does not guarantee a scholarship or loan; eligibility and funding decisions follow current official rules.
