The Social Health Authority (SHA) publishes online and assisted registration options for residents in Kenya. Use the official SHA website or the options announced by the Ministry of Health, and confirm current requirements before submitting personal details.

- Use the official SHA website and check that the address is correct before entering personal information.
- Have the identity and dependant details requested by the registration process available.

Steps to follow
- Open the SHA official websiteStart at the portal linked below and choose the individual registration option shown there.
- Choose a registration routeThe Ministry of Health has published self-registration through the SHA website or USSD *147#, as well as assisted registration options.
- Enter the details requested by the official serviceFollow the portal prompts and check personal and dependant information carefully before submitting.
- Save the confirmation or referenceRetain any confirmation provided by the official service and follow the next steps shown on screen.
- Get help through official channelsIf registration or dependant details cannot be completed online, use SHA’s published support or assisted-registration options.

- AGI cannot register a member, change dependant records or confirm individual coverage status.
